Are you an existing hearing aid user?

Alongside providing diagnostics and new hearing aids, we can also assess, repair, service, and fine-tune your existing provision to ensure optimal performance.

Perhaps you've moved home or are here on holiday, or the provider you initially saw is no longer available or suited for you. Either way, during your consultation our audiologist will check your ears and test your devices to advise the best route possible.

Could your hearing aids be working better?

If you are concerned about the efficacy of your hearing aids, then we can get them back in ship shape! We will effectively diagnose issues and make necessary adjustments to their performance. The appointment can vary in duration depending on faults found.

Initial investigations include:

  1. Examining your ear canals (equivalent to an Ear check-up appointment)

  2. Cleaning and checking replacement of wax traps and microphone covers

  3. Stetoclip checks for clarity of amplified sound output

    Appointment cost £40

Based on findings from these initial investigations we may proceed to advanced modifications such as:

  1. Replacing receiver wiring and ear-tips (NB. at varying additional cost if outside of warranty or purchased elsewhere)

  2. Performing feedback tests and real ear measurement verifications including in-situ audiogram

  3. Recalibrating hearing aid output based on results, and adjusting programming for enhanced speech clarity
